Shwinx

For businesses that bill monthly

Price increases, sorted.

Most small businesses skip the annual price increase because it's fiddly: who is due, how much notice they were promised, which letter to send. Shwinx schedules every increase, sends the notices and keeps the evidence.

How it works

  1. 1

    Import your clients

Upload a CSV or Excel export from your accounting system, or add clients by hand. Shwinx keeps each client's fee, anniversary and notice period.

  2. 2

    Set the increase

A fixed percentage, or CPI with a cap and floor. Override one client or move a whole batch. Shwinx works out the notice deadline for every client.

  3. 3

    Send the notices

Email each client from your own name with a branded PDF letter attached, in bulk or one at a time. Replies go straight to you.

  4. 4

    Keep the record

Every notice, change and import is logged with who did it and when, so you can show exactly what a client was told and when.

Questions

Is this a billing system?
No. Shwinx only does price increases: planning them, notifying clients and recording them. You keep invoicing in Xero, QuickBooks or whatever you use today.
Does it connect to Xero or QuickBooks?
Not yet. Today you import a CSV or Excel file. Connecting to Xero is next, then QuickBooks Online, so approved increases can be applied for you.
Who is it for?
Businesses that bill clients every month for an ongoing service: IT support providers, bookkeepers and accountants, agencies, cleaning, security and facilities companies, and small software businesses.
How much does it cost?
Shwinx is in a private beta and access is by invitation code. Pricing will be published before the beta ends. Beta testers are told well in advance, and nothing is charged without your say-so.
Where is my data kept?
In Ireland, in a database with row-level security so each business only sees its own records. See the privacy policy for details.
Can I try it?
Email hello@shwinx.com to ask for a beta code, or sign in if you already have one.
